21 September 2026 — Albumillion opens
Seven music questions a day, the same seven for everyone, changing at midnight in New York. Name as many answers as you can before each timer runs out. A wrong guess costs nothing; the rarer your answer, the more it is worth, and an answer almost nobody finds is Once In Albumillion.
- The daily is free and needs no account. Your streak and your past days are kept by your browser.
- Practice rounds open once you have finished the day's seven: seven more questions, never ones you have played and never the coming week's dailies, as many rounds as you like.
- The day's stats appear once fifteen people have finished: how you did against the day's median, the rarest answer anyone found, and which round was hardest.
- Answers come from MusicBrainz, Wikipedia's list of music genres, and Last.fm listening figures. There are around 6,800 questions.
- A guess the game did not recognise is checked afterwards. If it turns out to be a real answer it is added, and the game tells you so the next time you visit, though your score stays as it was.
There is nothing to buy and no advertising. The game never asks for your name, your email address or payment details.
